[5.1] clean out gdb/gdbserver

FYI, I've committed the attatched.

It's a bit of a hack.  Because GDBSERVER doesn't reliably build on all 
systems it isn't included in SUBDIRS.  As a consequence it isn't always 
cleaned out (even though it is configured).
