That's reasonable.

IMO - and as x86-64 binutils co-maintainer - if it's not too complex,
we should do it directly and not wait.  Therefore I'd like to discuss
it now and get it done directly right.  If we notice that the solution
is too involved, we can stick with Jiri's version.
