Ah, such faith.  I'm cynical enough to believe that the usual failure
mode for a bureaucracy is not to say "no", it is to drop it in
/dev/null.  Unjustified cynicism, I hope, but time will tell.

Damn, I was afraid you would say that <sigh>.  At the moment I'm torn
between diving back into the code and throwing myself on the mercy of
someone like Richard Henderson (which Red Hat does way too much of,
IMHO) or David Miller or whoever I could.
