Hi Net,

I just noticed that strip is unable to handle an executable that is
currently in use and that has multiple links (like my
/usr/local/bin/zsh that is also known as /bin/zsh). This is to be
expected, because files in use can't be opened for writing and files
with multiple links can't be unlinked and re-written. However, strip
doesn't show any error message - instead it exits silently and leaves
a file named something like 'sta01267'. This is NOT to be expected, I
think.
