I've now checked this in as it stands. I don't think Andrew's
suggestions are relevant since this program will only work against
Windows, and our automated testing tends to be against Linux. It also
needs some user interaction at the Windows end to start and end the
TELNET session.

Some automated testing for Windows would still be nice though...
