[ECOS] insight hangs

hi
i resolved my previous issue.
i was using wrong path.
now,while using Insight GUI,when i select basic1.exe file in File-->open. set the target setting as 'remote/serial', baud rate 38400 and port as /dev/pts/3'
my Insight hangs indefinetely.......why so?
