We almost never use DHCP with Redboot/eCos and neither do our
customers.  After 10 years of shipping Redboot and eCos with DHCP
support, this is only the second customer report of a problem with
DHCP.  This time I was able to (I think) reproduce the problem.  The
first one required a trip to a customer site with a laptop and
wireshark. :)
