[ECOS] MIPS32 RedBoot GDB Stub for MIPS16 eCos application

Hi all.
I have RedBoot GDB stub running with MIPS32 code.
I'm trying to debug my MIPS16 eCos application.
when I build my application as MIPS32 GDB works.

Where should I start checking? Or I should build my RedBoot as MIPS16 too?
