[ECOS] FAT on NOR/ NAND flash

Hi, all
   I am trying to port FAT on NOR flash of EA2468 board.
can anybody give me ans of these questions?
1) Is it possible to port FAT directly to flash memory?or any other
requirement?
2) Is there any image require to put in flash before mount? How can we
create image for flash?
