[ECOS] How to read i2c in RedBoot

Hi!
This is probably a newbie question but still...

I need to read from an i2c device but dont know how
to do it. The function hal_<plattform>_i2c_get_bytes
doesnt return the correct value. I have included i2c
in the configuration.

What am I supposed to do?
