[ECOS] Cygwin mount mode issue

According to the web page on installing Cygwin for use with
eCos, all directories should be mounted in textmode.

What neither that page nor the instructions for building the
toolchain tell you is that to build the toolchains, the
directories where you're unpacking sources and doing the
building have to be mounted in binary mode.

The /tmp directory also has to be mounted in binary mode. This
is mentioned on the web site if you search through the
FAQ-o-matic pages.

I just wanted to note for posterity that the mounbt settings
you're told to use for using eCos won't work for building
toolchains...
