[ECOS] system hanging with cpuload package

Hi,
 
I am trying to use the cpuload package in our software to find the cpu utilization. I am facing problem with using this package. System is getting hung after I make call to the cyg_cpuload_calibrate. I am able to get the calibration value but after a few seconds system is hanging. I am doing this before any other system initialization. I am working a MIPS32 based system. I am able to run the cpuload test program on the same platform. Did anyone face this type or issue with cpuload? Any clues how can debug this issue?
