[ECOS] Hosttool segfault with linux-synthetical target

Hi,

if I chose the linux synthetic target with the
new hosttool/configtool, configtool does allocate
all memory I have (so - you'd be warned!) and crashes.
No very nice ...

Other targets seem to work correct.
