[ECOS] Regarding Linker Script

Hi All,

In a liker script file what is the meaning of   this line

.fini ALIGN (0x4) : { . = .; *(.fini) } > ram

What is the function of ALIGN here ? Is it reserves some memory to the section
.fini ?

Also what is the meaning of    .  =  .  ?
