[ECOS] Ix86 Multi Processor

I am interested in running a dual core Pentium with eCos. I have a few 
questions. I am running Intel Pro 1000 and an IDE driver. What would you 
suspect would need spinlocks for the dual proc? How many CPUs will eCos 
handle.
