[ECOS] generating host tools fails

It looks like you are still missing parts of docbook. Maybe you have
only installed the online part, not the printed part?

On my system this is installed in 
/usr/share/sgml/docbook/stylesheet/dsssl/modular/print

I also have a directory 
/etc/sgml/docbook-dsssl/print

which contains a catalogue of where the print dsssl files are
installed.
