[ECOS] am i doing wrong??

hi all,
sorry for putting my porting problem in front of u all,again!!

i am trying to port redboot onto my target hardware philips LPC2148.
what exactly i did is, i had selected redboot as template and build the library, then test. resolved all errors and got redboot bin file.
i had converted bin to hex file using bin2hex converter and transfered the hex file to ARM7TDMI-S (LPC2148)using philips flash utility.

now when i open my hyperterminal,  where my configurations are 9600,8N1, i am not able to see any bootprompt of redboot!!
what the mistake am i doing??
my board have RAM of 32K and ROM of 512K and start-up type is ROM.
plz help,but plz dont be much harsh to me.........i m jst kid in this field so plz have some patience!!
