[ECOS] [Fwd: Network problem]

I'm working on an i386 architecture with a RDC R6040 ethernet driver 
configured as eth0. The problem I'm facing is that I'm able to 
initialize the device using DCHP (I mean, the board can resolve an IP 
address) but once it's initialized I can't send or receive any packet 
from the host. I have compiled the ping_test.c program and it seems that 
the ARP cannot resolve the MAC address of the host. I can't ever ping 
the board. However, as I said before, the DHCP protocol is working fine.

I'm working with ecos-2.0 and this is the configuration I built to test 
the example:

ecosconfig tree
ecosconfig --config=ecos.ecc remove CYGPKG_DEVS_ETH_RLTK_8139
ecosconfig --config=ecos.ecc remove CYGPKG_DEVS_ETH_I386_PC_RLTK8139
ecosconfig --config=ecos.ecc add CYGPKG_DEVS_ETH_I386_PC_R6040
ecosconfig --config=ecos.ecc add CYGPKG_DEVS_ETH_RDC_R6040
make -s
make -C net/common/current tests TESTS=tests/ping_test

Before compiling the tree I changed the CYG_HAL_STARTUP macro in order 
to boot by the GRUB bootloader.
I have debuggers on the driver and I noticed that it does receive ARP 
requests to other machines but it doesn't receive the ARPs requests to 
the board

Any ideas will be appreciated..
