[ECOS] Error: undefined symbol `CYGMEM_REGION_rom' in operation

i have taken mbx as template for my powerpc based
board, when i do
"build library" i get message :

"Error: undefined symbol `CYGMEM_REGION_rom' in
operation"

why is this so?
pls help
