[ECOS] JFFS2 memory usage in systems with limited RAM

The JFFS2 RAM usage should be roughly constant if the number of files is
constant. Stay clear of lots of scattered writes/appends in low memory
systems.

The truth is of course much more complicated, but the above is the
essential truth.
