[ECOS] Help required in Debugging Ethernet Driver in IXP425

Hi All,

Is it possible for me to activate the ethernet MII
thro' the JTAG interface.
How do i know the PHY is initialised properly? I tried
to initialise using
the ADI redboot, but i dont see anything happening on
the ethernet side.
since the hardware is our custom board, i am not sure
whether the problem is
with the hardware or the software.

 I appreciate any inputs on this
