[ECOS] jffs2 mount error for EB40A board

This is the major problem. Interestingly, 

londo:/home/lunn/Junk# mkfs.jffs2 --version
mkfs.jffs2 revision 1.19

ie the one i use is older than yours, yet it still works fine for me!

I suggest you first use the jffs2.img provided rather than your
own. Get that working first so you at least know eCos is working OK.
