[ECOS] JFFS2 Mounting Problem

Hello friends,
               I am able to mount the jffs2 file system now but it is erasing the entire flash. If I give length  parameter in static confign as 0x000c0000, it will not erase the redboot area.i.e it is allowing length less than 1M ! .. if length is more than 1 M it is erasing the entire flash... can any one tell me why this happens?
