[ECOS] [eb40]howto use another type FLASH ?

hi list,
I have one customed board based on AT91M40800(AT91X40),
my flash is AMD's AM29F800B, differernt from EB40's flash,I notice 
that ecos packages already have AM29F800 support,so I think changes maybe
simple.
what i can do so that my redboot.bin support my flash ?
any suggestion will be appreciated.
