[ECOS] ecos porting to x86

I have recently discovered a  development sistem called Commander-X, X-port.
It has many desirable capabilities and it's as big as and RJ45  Connector.

10Base-T/100Base-TX auto-sensing Ethernet connection
512K/Flash
256K/RAM
16bit-x86 44Mhz Processor
1 Serial I/O port
4 Digital I/O Pins

I want to port eCos to that platform, but it uses an 16bit-x86  is there 
a way to por eCos there? Has any one done that?
