This sounds like a good plan. We have software running on a PC
which communicates with our board anyway, so I'll add a
update flash menu item.

The plan is to buy a better emulator once we decide what we need. There
was a bit of jungle when figuring out what to buy, so we started
by buying a wiggler and flash programming software.
