[ECOS] Question about using Multi-ICE with eCOS program? Thanks a lot.

Hi all:
    I tried to use Multi-ICE with eCOS program. I have some question
regarding the multi-ice with ecos program. Hope someone can give me a hint.

Based on the Altera Excalibur platform

Q1. Can I use Multi-ICE with a plain platform (without RedBoot installed)?
 "CYGDBG_HAL_DEBUG_GDB_INCLUDE_STUBS" enabled with startup type for "RAM"
for this purpose right? )

Q2. Normally the memory layout and platform(such as: SDRAM controller) is
set up by RedBoot run from flash memory. when using  multi-ICE with plain
platform, the eCOS program is built with some related option enabled, where
is this eCOS program loadded to? (NOTE: the SDRAM controller has not yet
been setup before the program explicitly set it up ) So the program is not
able to be loadded into SDRAM at the very beginning before the program run.
so what is going on here?
