[ECOS] [Off topic] Insight 5.3 crash under Win2000

hello,

I'm looking for a proper debugger for eCos and now I evaluate the usability 
of Insight 5.3.
target is a EDB7312 board with Redboot serial connected.
the problem is that Insight closes itself when I switch to another running 
application under Windows 2000. it also has this behaviour when I step 
thhough my code.

in the cygwin window I got this message: Segmentation fault (core dumped)

has anyone worked with Insight under Win2000?
any ideas how can I make it work?
