[ECOS] Ecos or uClinux

Hello everyone,

I've been looking at producing a low cost router (based on ARM) and I'm sure
whether to use ecos or uClinux as a starting point. Both OS's provide TCP/IP
stacks, however uClinux has a lot more code available for the basic router
components (DCHP server, NAT, ARP, RARP, PPP even VPN). Ecos does have the
advantage of being smaller (memory requirements) hence reduced hardware
costs.

Has anybody tried implementing a router with either ecos uClinux, who can
offer any comments ?

Have I missed any advantages/disadvantages I should be aware about with
either ecos or uClinux ?
