[ECOS] i386-elf-gdb.exe Segmentation Fault

Does this happen if you give it a program to debug (on the
command line)?  I've seen GDB have trouble in this case.

Also, 5.3.x-CVS seems quite "cutting edge".  Maybe this
version isn't CygWin friendly.

You should probably ask on the GDB lists as well.
