[ECOS] Gdb session with Redboot

Hi all,
I have installed Redboot on a EB40A board and i have run the hello.c program. Could i run this program from a gdb session now?How could i connect me with redboot from gdb session? Target rdi /dev/ttyS0 was with Angel monitor.I would like to know it  in order of debugging(Insight or gdb).
