[ECOS] Configuration of printf output

Hello, is this configuration correct to send the printf on the screen?
Board:EB40A
Port:Serial A 
Default console device:/dev/ser0 ( in ISO C input/output function)
TTY-mode serial device driver-Console Device Name:/dev/pts/0
TTY model Chanel #0:dev/ser0

Something missing or wrong? Should i use minicom to see the output on the screen?
