[ECOS] ECOS_REPOSITORY as a path

Setting the ECOS_REPOSITORY variable to a path
consisting of multiple components works only for
the command line tool, but not the GUI tool. I am
running Linux, all the tools have been freshly built
from CVS sources today. Is this supposed to work?
