[ECOS] recommend a cheap/free FAT16 implementation?

Can anyone recommend a FAT16 implementation (source code preferred)
that I can use in eCOS for a compact flash card?

I looked at FreeDOS' FAT and I could rip it out, but it would
probably be easier for me to find a version that is designed
to be inserted into a project (thus documenting all the necessary
hooks and setup parameters that have to be completed).
