[ECOS] How is eCos different from Linux and other RTOS(pSos, Nncleus) ?

How is eCos different from Linux and other RTOS(pSos, Nucleus)?
How is eCos related to Linux?  
Does it take less efforts to port driver for Linux to eCos than 
pSos/Nucleus ?
