[ECOS] Ecos TCP/IP prob

hi all...
we are facing some funny problem with TCP/IP on ecos.
We have ported TCP/IP with ecos on our custom 860 based board.

We have assigned IP address of our board to be 192.168.40.201

During initial startup (card reset), we are able to ping to any machine
in the network. But after few minutes, response to ping stops coming for
all machines in network except the gateway (192.168.40.1).

At this stage, if we go to any machine in network and ping our card, then
connection again resumes with only  that machine but not to any machine
in network.

Did anyone face this problem before...?
