[ECOS] Out of memory with the simulator

Hi everyone,
   After I create a array of about half a meg, I get the following complain from the linker with the powerpc simulator. It looks like I am running out of memory. Could anyone please give me pointers on how to expand the memory definition ? I create the array in global memory.

error:

/tools/H-i686-pc-linux-gnu/powerpc-eabi/bin/ld: address 0x1394a0 of thread section .bss is not within region ram
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [thread] Error 1
