[ECOS] Sections in RedBoot

Can someone tell me why does RedBoot has following sections:
Fini, rodata1, fixup, gcc_except_table, fixed_vectors
I don't use any of these. So, I removed all of them. But when I compile
linker complains about missing gcc_except_table section. Error line is:
ld: LOADADDR uses undefined section .gcc_except_table
How can I remove gcc_except_table section also?
