[ECOS] How to use RedBoot

Hi,

Does RedBoot work with hyperterminal only to debug the ecos program or with GDB to dubug?
I cannot build GDB stub for my AT91 EB40 and the GDB works badly with Angel monitor. So can anyone tell me 
how to use RedBoot?
