[ECOS] anonymous CVS access through SSH tunnel

Hi all,

now that we found a way to use CVS again (thanks, Simon!) I'd like
to repeat a question that I already posted some time ago, but did not
receive any response to so far. I can use CVS to access the ecos
repository from my home computer, a Linux system where I am in
control of the firewall. At work, however, CVS access is blocked by
our company firewall. I can use SSH to access outside servers, so
this would provide a way to access the repository through a SSH
tunnel, if I could establish such a connection to the server.

There may be others having similar problems, so I would like to
suggest the creation of a 'anonymous cvs' account on the server
that can be used in conjunction with port forwarding to access the
CVS repository. Any support for this proposal?
