[ECOS] [Redboot] just uppercase displayed

It sounds like its the GDB stub trying to talk to gdb. Probably
redboot has crashed and taken a hardware exception. The stub has taken
over and wants to report to gdb.  

Use gdb with the redboot elf and it may give you an idea where its
crashed.
