[ECOS] Where is the linux

Hi 

I am looking on a eCos & RedBoot files, docs, etc. an have a hope
to make own on AT91EB40 board .. but where is the linux in eCos?

RedBoot will boot eCos, but where are files, dirs, root file system, 
how can I add a ppp or other else ... and where & how to put and execute
my aplications not in "simulator mode". Can somebody compare me, eCos with
the pure linux?!! Hope for an answer ..
