[ECOS] SIGBUS error on SH4

Hi all,
I am using POSIX compatibilty layer of ecos on SH7751 board.
I frequently come across SIGBUS error in calls to various 
pthread library functions....
( like pthread_cond_wait...., and the mutex cleanup handlers)
What could be the root cause of this problem?
