timer1 is used in HAL_DELAY_US() for eb40 code !

HAL_DELAY_US() is used by some I/O drivers if absolute [small]
timing is required. This is atypical though. To be sure of
any interactions, you could look for this macro in any of the
modules/drivers you are using.
