[ECOS] arm target error-sam

hello friends

     i had configured ecos for arm7t for samsung NBC-4510b(samsung-ks-32)

i connected the serial port(COM 1) to the target board.

already i had configured and make flash image and rom image

i followed the steps

1) arm-elf-gdb -nw gdb_moule.img

then gdb appeared

(gdb) target rdi s=/dev/ttyS0

then there was an error stating that RDI_OPEN FAILED

i tried many times and reset the evb and checked thr jumper settings

all r correct.

can i know the reason for the error?
