[ECOS] eathernet drivers

Hello Sir
i am trying to write eathernet driver for eathernet
i am using ecos cvs (updated on apr 5) on linux
and devloping drivet for realtek 8139 on i386
 
but i am unable to read mac address of the card
pl help me to solve the problem
how should i proceed.
