[ECOS] Building and running the i386 version

Hello again from Gregg C Levine
Just for fun, can the subscribers who are interested advise me off list,
which version/distribution of Linux they are using? Also anyone who is
using the Cygnus toolchain may reply as well. Naturally the web pages
refer to Red Hat, but they believe any will do. I am using Slackware
Linux for my work.
