[ECOS] C++ constructors in stream.cxx

hi,
   the constructors for stdin, stdout never seem to be called, because when i try to use these objects, flags like-- flags.opened_for_read, flags.opened_for_write dont seem to be set to that particular value.
  can anybody please tell me what i'm missing out on.
