[ECOS] Porting Tools?

I looked that the eCos Porting web page and it seemed to all talk about eCos
itself.  I am wondering where I can find documentation on the porting of 
binutils,
c, c++, and gdb/insight for a particular processor?  I guess I'm looking 
for directions
on what and where to patch like the patches I loaded for the Toshiba tx39 
tools.
