[ECOS] Dosn't eCos have any PROMPT for input data from Debug Monitor?

Hi.
I ported eCos to my custom mpc860 board.
and I tested it via GDB.
The results are OK.

But I want to use PROMPT to input data stream through key-in on debug
monitor.
For example, vxWorks supports the PROMPT even when It is RUNNING.
(And user can do several jobs, such as fill memory or read memory, etc )
But GDB doesn't support to key in when It is RUNNING ( Progaram Busy
message appears on GDB Monitor).

So by any chance , is there any option for getting the PROMPT support
on eCos package?
